Driving Directions From the Seattle/Tacoma area, travelers may reach U.S. 101 by several different routes, either by crossing Puget Sound on one of the Washington State Ferries or by driving south around Puget Sound. For a Trail Pass, visit the Sequim Visitor Center, which is located approximately 1/2 mile from Highway 101's Washington Street Exit. The Center is open 7 days a week, from 9 to 5 in summer and 10 to 4 in winter. Sunday hours are 10 to 3. Get back on Highway 101 continuing west from Sequim and turn south on Taylor Cutoff Road to Lost Mountain Road. Proceed to the intersection with Forest Service Road 2870 (also called Slab Camp Road).
