Driving Directions From the Seattle/Tacoma area, travelers may reach U.S. 101 by several different routes, either by crossing Puget Sound on one of the Washington State Ferries or by driving south around Puget Sound. Continue west on Highway 101 out of Port Angeles for 15 miles to Lake Crescent. Follow 101 around the lake for 3 miles to Milepost 228. Take a right at the sign that reads: Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent Lodge, Olympic Park Institute and Marymere Falls. At the first stop sign, take a right to the trailhead parking area.
